The 6.5-kilometer Onuebum-Otuoke Road serves as the shortest route to Otuoke, the host community of Federal University, Otuoke. Before the Prosperity Government of Senator Douye Diri took office, the road was in a state of severe disrepair, becoming impassable during floods due to persistent flooding issues. Under Governor Diri’s leadership, the road has been fully reconstructed and elevated above flood levels, ensuring year-round accessibility and significantly improving connectivity for the community.
